ACCESSIBILITY ASSISTANCE

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Congratulations on your admission to the University of Illinois at Chicago!

The UIC Orientation for international students is a one-day session designed to acquaint you with UIC, ensure your success by providing information and up-to-date resources, and provide you with your first opportunity to meet with an academic advisor.

ACCESSIBILITY ASSISTANCE

We pride ourselves in making UIC as inclusive and accessible as possible. If you or a family member requires arrangements in order to participate in the orientation program, please notify the UIC Orientation program at least seven days prior to your orientation date at 312-996-3271. Students with disabilities are encouraged to begin the registration process as soon as possible to ensure that appropriate accommodations are approved before classes begin.

If you are seeking disability-related accommodations, you are encouraged to contact the Disability Resource Center (DRC) at 312-413-2183 or drc@uic.edu to learn about the university services available to you. Any request for accommodations must be accompanied by documentation indicating diagnosis of disability and how it limits participation in the educational environment. More information on the DRC and the registration process is available at drc.uic.edu.
